Hi people, hope you guys like this poetry. I know it aint the best I ve produced. But I consider it as one of my very special works. :)
Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
I'm passing by the inevitable hill
In a subway train, above the ground.
Through windows of light I see death
And am reminded of the life I am to live.
Mount Pleasant, someday I'll share your pleasure.
For that tombstone cross reminds me
Of the One who died to save my life
And rose again to share it.
Someday I'll die and rise to Him,
And He'll put on me a new robe of light
Which overcomes the darkness
And reminds death it is defeated.
